Kelly Earns Four Awards!09/15/2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Kelly Electric LLC KELLY ELECTRIC LLC EARNS "ABC EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS" 
Each year the Central Florida Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors holds "The Excellence in Construction Awards" competition to recognize outstanding projects built by the General Contractor and Craft Trade Contractor members of ABC. This year, (September 15, 2008) Kelly Electric LLC is the recipient of multiple awards; to include three, first place "Eagle Awards," and one, runner up "Award of Merit" in the highly competitive commercial category.
In the Commercial Electrical $5 - $10 million category - Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves received an "Eagle Award."
Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves is a 1.15 million square foot open-air shopping center designed to attract the community as a whole. Winter Garden Village offers one stop shopping with a wide array of well known department stores, restaurants and eateries, health club, specialty retailers and a large home and garden center.
In the Commercial Electrical $10 - 20 million category - Prime Outlets International received an "Eagle Award."
Prime Outlets International is 1,000,000 square feet of mega-mall that has been transformed from the old 200,000 square feet Belz Factory Mall. In order to save costs on the project, selective demolition of the existing mall was utilized to maintain much of the existing structures. All of the electrical systems from the original mall were completely removed and all new electrical systems were installed.
In the Commercial Electrical under $1 million category - Yak and Yeti Restaurant received and "Eagle Award."
The Yak and Yeti Restaurant is the first full service dining venue in Disney's Animal Kingdom. This Pan-Asian history themed restaurant is located within Asia, in the village of Andandapur, which is next to the Expedition Everest. The Yak and Yeti restaurant houses both a 250-seat indoor full-service approach and a 350-seat outdoor pavilion.
In the Commercial Electrical $5 - $10 million category - Westin Imagine received an "Award of Merit."
The Westin Imagine is a condominium, hotel and timeshare package all in one building. This twelve story building has 315 rooms completely furnished and ready for full occupancy. Kelly Electric LLC self performed the power and lighting for the entire project. Kelly Electric LLC contracted and managed other sub-contractors in the performance of fire alarm, data/com and lightning protection systems.
Note: The "Eagle Award" is the highest award a project can receive. An independent jury of architects, engineers and other experts in the industry evaluate each project nominated for - project management, construction and design challenges, client service and safety.
